Larimer County Organizations



Larimer County Dive Rescue Team
The Larimer County Dive Rescue Team is composed of civilians and personnel from various emergency response agencies located in Larimer County. The LCDRT is a non-profit organization dedicated to water safety. The dive team's primary mission is the rescue and/or recovery of people and property involved in water related accidents.

Foundation on Aging for Larimer County
The Foundation has been organized exclusively for the purpose of providing additional dollars for seniors. In general, the money that the Foundation raises will be going to agencies that serve older residents of Larimer County, Colorado to support such services as dental care, eyeglasses, respite care, in-home help, transportation, handicapped equipment and modifications, and home repairs.

Larimer County Safety Council
The Larimer County Safety Council is a diverse group of professionals dedicated to promoting safety and environmental awareness. Larimer County Safety Council is a non-profit organization that provides professional development through educational sessions, networking, resource sharing, and career opportunities to its members and other interested parties.

CASA of Larimer County
CASA, Inc. is a non-profit, organization that recruits and trains volunteers to work as Court Appointed Special Advocates. These volunteers are appointed by the Juvenile Judge, Eighth Judicial District, to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children within our court system.

Resource Access for Families of infants and Children
Resource Access for Families of infants and Toddlers (RAFT) is a program designed to coordinate our community's identification of infants and toddlers with special needs, provide initial service coordination and tracking services, facilitate utilization of resources, and support and empower families in meeting the needs of their children.

Bright Beginnings
Bright Beginnings' services are part of a statewide, non-profit network of regional offices, designed to celebrate the birth of every child, welcome the child into the community, and offer warm, friendly support to all parents.

CROSSwalk People Helpers
A religious-based counselling service with offices in Fort Collins and Loveland.

The Larimer Chorale
The regionally acclaimed 90-voice Larimer Chorale provides some of the finest choral music available in the state of Colorado. The chorale was founded in 1977. The Larimer Chorale's diverse repertoire includes works by the masters of classical choral music such as Bach, Mozart, Brahms and Beethoven, but also includes lighter music by Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and other nineteenth and twentieth century composers.

Elder Care Network
The Elder Care Network is a collaboration of family members and community professionals from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors of Larimer County. Our mission is to help families join with their elders to plan for transitions, explore options and support life choices. The Network hosts and promotes activities to assist adult children in making informed choices about many aspects of a parent’s life.

Disabled Resource Services For Larimer County
Disabled Resource Services (DRS) is a consumer controlled, community-based, cross-disability, non residential, private non-profit agency that is designed and largely operated by individuals with disabilities to provide an array of independent living services.

United Way of Larimer County
The United Ways of Larimer County strive to create community impact through the funding of non-profit agency programs that directly address health and human service needs. We are a volunteer-based organization that works in community partnerships to asses and increase awareness of community needs, raise and allocate funds, foster volunteerism and develop a successful approach to meeting community needs.

Food Bank for Larimer County
Our mission is to reduce hunger in Larimer County, Colorado through programs that collect, process, store and distribute food to individuals and in cooperation with agencies that serve those in need.

Santa Cops of Larimer County
Santa Cops of Larimer County is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide Christmas gifts for children in Larimer County who may not have one otherwise.

Hospice of Larimer County
The mission of HLC is to provide specialized, compassionate care to anyone affected by an advanced medical condition and to support those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

The Loveland Archaeological Society
The Loveland Archaeological Society, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization incorporated in 1984 after over 40 years of existence as an informal group in Loveland, Colorado. The primary purpose of the society is to promote the study of archaeology by its members as it pertains to Native American cultures in the American West. The society hosts the annual Stone Age Fair.

Ally's Haven - An Equine Sanctuary
Our goal is to provide those horses that are physically and/or emotionally in need an opportunity to be rehabilitated with the hope of finding those that are able, a suitable career matching their physical and mental capabilities. Those unable to move into another career due to age, health, physical or emotional reasons will remain at the sanctuary and be provided with the quality of life that they deserve.

Big John's Team assists uninsured and underinsured cancer patients with the overwhelming cost of treatment.

Crossroads Safehouse

Larimer Humane Society
The Humane Society for Larimer County serves the animals and people of our county through the following main programs: Animal Care & Placement, Foster Care, Lost & Found, Licensing, Animal Protection & Control, Spay/Neuter Assistance Program, WildKind (wildlife rehabilitation), Obedience Classes, Behavior Counseling, Pet Therapy Visitations and Volunteer Opportunities.

Loveland Volunteer Fire Department
We are dedicated to providing Emergency Services to the people of Loveland and the surrounding communities.

Pathways to Spirit
Pathways to Spirit is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the provision of material assistance to and cultural preservation of Native Americans on the reservations of South Dakota and along the Front Range of Colorado from Denver to Wyoming.
