We are going to begin our story of Larimer County very far back in time -- say 15 billion years ago or so. As we tell our tale of how Larimer County came to be (and incidentally, everything else in the universe), remember that this is just a reconstruction of probable events, based on the best scientific knowledge of our day. Those who prefer a literal interpretation of the the Biblical version of creation, or one of the other creation myths such as one of the Native American stories of creation, may prefer to view this as science's creation myth.
